Snyder Continues Title Defense in Michigan

The Snyder Motorsports Top Alcohol Funny Car sponsored by TORCO Race Fuels will head to Stanton, Michigan to participate in their second divisional event of the 2005 season. The event will be held at Mid-Michigan Motorplex, just a little over two hours from the headquarters of the Team’s major sponsor TORCO Race Fuels.

The Team has had quite a bit of success at this racetrack in the past. Mick’s father and crew chief, Larry Snyder, won here en route to his 1999 Pro Outlaw World Championship while Mick has runner-upped at this track twice in two appearances. He hopes that the third time will indeed prove to be a charm.

“We didn’t perform up to our potential at the Indy Divisional this year. Hopefully, that is all behind us now and we will be able to put a win together at this event. The car ran really well the last time out and we are excited about the progress we have been making,” said Snyder.

“Evan and Brian at TORCO Race Fuels have given us the backing to win another championship. We would love to start the defense of our North Central Division Championship here in TORCO’s home state.”

The Mid-Michigan Motorplex event is the first of three Divisional races the Team plans to attend before returning back to the National event circuit.
