Snyder Looking for Two in a Row in Edgewater

The Snyder Motorsports Top Alcohol Funny Car is coming off a very impressive month of July where they qualified number one and set low ET at each of the 3 races they attended. They are hoping to continue this trend in Cleves, Ohio at Edgewater Sports Park this weekend.

Defending Division 3 Champion, Mick Snyder is heading into this weekend at the top of the very competitive North Central Division points chase and has recently moved into the top 10 of the National points standings. Snyder is hoping to add to his lead this weekend.

“We feel like we have the car running really well right now. Hopefully we will be able to capitalize on that and put together another win this weekend. Bristol was really good for us. We needed to win on the Divisional level to help us in the points chase and boost the team’s confidence. Everyone on the crew works so hard each weekend and sometimes you just need to see it pay off.”

“The fans at Edgewater are great. We always have a great turnout and a lot of fun when we come to this track. Hopefully we will be able to put on a good show for them and all the sponsors that make it possible for us to go out an race each weekend,” said Snyder.

The TORCO Racing Fuels sponsored car will begin qualifying on Friday night at 5 PM. Saturday they will have 2 more sessions at 5:30 and 8:30 PM. Opening ceremonies begin at 12:45 on Sunday followed by final eliminations at 1 PM.
