Snyder Looking for 3rd Straight Divisional Win

Driver, Mick Snyder, and the TORCO Racing Fuels Top Alcohol Funny Car will be in Bowling Green, Kentucky this weekend for the Lucas Oil Division 3 event. Snyder, the defending Division 3 champion and current points leader, is coming off a great stretch of races in which he has captured 2 wins in 4 straight final round appearances.

The Snyder Motorsports Race Team will also be looking to pick up their 4th straight Spitzer Enterprises #1 qualifying award. The Team is currently #1 in the Spitzer Enterprises
Top Alcohol Funny Car Low Qualifier Series as well.

“We have been on a great stretch of races lately. It isn’t something you expect with all of the great competition in Division 3 and across the country. We have worked very hard to continually improve our race car and we have started to see some amazing results,” commented last year’s event runner-up.

“We feel very lucky that we have been able to do so well as of late and hope that our charge to back-up the Division 3 championship proves to be successful in the end. This is such an up and down sport. So many little things can happen to end your day, but that is what makes it such a challenge. That is why we love it.”

The Top Alcohol Funny Car class will receive 3 qualifying sessions beginning on Friday (5 PM) and continuing on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM and 4:30 PM. Eliminations well commence at 1 PM on Sunday following the opening ceremonies.
