Wilson Racing pushing AllStar Race to the edge at Edgewater!

Winfield, Mo., - This weekend's NHRA / Lucas Oil Division 3 Drag Racing Series event, at Edgewater Sports Park outside Cincinnati, OH August 5th-7th is in the next stop on the NHRA's Division 3 Championship tour and will once again determine if the Torco Race Fuels / Wilson Racing Top Alcohol Team will represent Division 3 in the JEG'S AllStar Race in Chicago.

The Torco Race Fuels / Wilson Racing Team needs to win the event to guarantee them a spot on the Division 3 Team and the privilege to compete in Chicago as part of the JEG'S AllStar's. "We must step it up this weekend and win the event to represent Division 3 in the JEG'S AllStar Race in Chicago". stated Wilson "Three teams in our Division are still in the hunt to represent Division 3 and it almost appears that whomever wins this weekend will represent Division 3 in Chicago".

"We won the Edgewater event in 2003 so we know we are capable of winning at that facility. We need to win or just go one round farther than the other Teams in the hunt for the AllStar Race to keep our hopes alive", stated Wilson. "Edgewater has a fairly new race surface and so the weather will be a major factor, not only for me but for all the blown cars verses the injected cars. All we can do is hope for hot weather and perform this weekend like we are capable of doing and we will be ok."
