    Frank/Luke;
    If I remember right, there are problems with both, but of course, easy for you to get there (not here).
    The "EG" is a very small electrode that just decides to quit firing and WILL bend the best rods money can buy due to hydraulics.
    The "ECS" looks like a great plug to read because of the huge champher down the barrell, but I supect because there is no "flat" at the base, instead a "sharp" point, it may be a red hot glow point causing detonation.
    Steve Turner has already "been there-done that", it might help to ask him.

    Bob,
    Thanks for reply, I thought the same about the EG plug, my first concern was using it with the 44amp mag. As for the ECS I prefered the look of it, but like you say with the champher on it, it 'could' get a little hotter than I'd like.

    Ok excellent I will have a chat with Steve.

    Thanks
    Luke
