Pinion nut

What is the correct torque spec for the pinion nut on a 9 in ultra case strange center section. Female coupler in place now, need to remove so that split ring pickup collar can be removed.

 

I use red lock tite and. 3ft bar to set the torque. There is no torque really just make sure when you spin the pinion there is some drag On the bearing. You can spend all night moving and changing shims around but when I talked to strange that's what they told me. There cases are made for US gears and there tolerance is pretty dam close. Just make sure it's not flopping around and not binding when you spin it. And if you just bought a 9.5 4.57 your in for a suprise! They changed the pitch on the teeth. Mine measured .250 bigger dia. So it's really like a 9.75 . I had to belt sand the outer edge of teeth down so it didn't bind into the back of the pinion bearing. Major headache. I have pics if you wanna seem em. Not trying to set up a new gear. Just want to take female pinion coupler off , change collar and put nut and female pinion coupler back on.
