Do what dave said, leave it alone, and see what it will do. No seance in throwing good money at it if it doesn,t need a change. Don

Is it a double slip joint car? I used to crew for a guy (quit due to health reasons) with a 280 inch double slip joint Spitzer. The cars work real well on a variety of surfaces, we ran a glide and Hemi instead of the BBC and lenco but the cars should be pretty similar other than the better first gear that you have. Do you run the 8973 if so it will help a lot with the launch, between that and the joints and the bar and ballast you have a lot of tuning variables.

His name is Mike and his screen name is fastavenger 588 if you look him up on the members list and PM him, I am sure he will be happy to give you his phone number so you can share information. They have made a few changes to the cars and recently so you might also want to give Mike Spitzer a call and see if there are any updates/changes you might want to make.

Also I agree with the guys that have posted already if the car has been 3.80s most of the setting should be pretty close to what you want already. So go ahead and get some seat time.

    Good luck with the car,

    Richard Gavle
