MSD checking monitor

    Sure it isn't titled right, But I am going to drag out my MSD Catalog, Looking for something I can check my six shooter, 2 step and RPM switch. I guess to check chips and to simulate a run. I am not using the computer set-up. Old school 6 shooter and fuel man. controlled by Leahey's stuff. There is so many products and part number now I am not sure what to use.     Well the MSD 8996 will only simulate the engine running on digital box like an 8973 or a 7531. I am not sure what the input for RPM is the the Leay timer. I would call Leahy and ask him what works best.
