For you Funny Car guys. If I have this right, your burn-down tubes connect to the top frame rail, which carries all the junk to the puke tank behind the driver. It's an uphill arrangement. Don't you get a bunch of oil and crap accumulated in the top rail after a run? In my mind that's the low point and should collect a substantial amount of stuff. Am I off base here?

you are right.....there is a little oil and alky that doesn't make it to the tank. what doesn't make it to the back of the car in the puke tank gets drained out of the top rail in the front of the car. we use a bung with an 1/8" pipe plug. there isn't usually much in there after a pass.

The lower rails on my FED are connected to the puke tanks. i think the acceleration carries most of it back to the tank, but i do drain my rails every outting.
