lenco coarse vs fine spline

    I'm looking for a lenco 3spd to run behind a Bruno drive in a 2900lb promod. Lenco claims the old coarse spline CS-1 stuff is good for 1800hp. I know a lot of guys go real fast with these trans. I know the small spags are obsolete. A fine spline CS2 would be ideal but the price difference is substantial. Anybody know the weight difference between CS1&CS2? Anything else to watchout for other than the small sprags?
