leakdown testers

i'm looking to be buying a leak down tester for setting barrel valve..been on e-bay and seeing a lot of them[new] for $38.00 up tp $100.00;;brands are US GENERAL and STAR and LONGACRE....Would any of these work ok;;won't be racing all time just as i can afford it so tool would most likely only be used for first start-up[guessing]my first blower engine so don't know how often that it needs to be done..

 

You should be fine with a cheap one. I baseline test mine, I have a nozzle jet marked the % it flows at 80 PSI and thats how I check it.

Repeatable is more important then accurate
