Gene Snow's new driver to highlight InsideTopAlcohol.com Warm Up

MARION, Texas - With racing season just around the corner, some of the best Top Alcohol racers in the country will be converging on San Antonio Raceway for this weekend's InsideTopAlcohol.com Top Alcohol Warm-Up. Headlining the list of drivers that will be at the testing event will be drag race legend Gene Snow's new driver Spencer Massey, who will be attempting to upgrade his license in Snow's Injected Nitro Dragster.

Snow was enjoying one of his best years in the Top Alcohol Dragster category last season, qualifying No. 1 at the prestigious Mac Tools U.S. Nationals and winning the Jeg's Sportsman All-Stars event before destroying his car in a testing accident. Following the crash, Snow has promoted Massey, a long-time Snow crewmember to the driver position. Massey currently holds a Super Comp license and will be preparing for his competition debut at the Div. 4 opener in Belle Rose, La., in two weeks. Snow went as quick as 5.261 seconds last year.

Joining Snow in the Top Alcohol Dragster category will be Brent Henry, the new driver for the Sooner One Motorsports entry and Vitali Kazakevich. Defending World Champion car owner/tuner Tom Conway will be on hand assisting the Sooner One team.

Along with the dragsters, Top Alcohol Funny Car competitors Will Hanna and Ray Drew will be on hand. Drew, a competitor on the IHRA circuit will be making the trip from Union Grove, Wi., to prepare for the upcoming Texas Amalie Oil Nationals to be held at San Antonio Raceway, March 24-26. Hanna, who made his competition debut late last year on the NHRA circuit will debut the team's new 2006 Monte Carlo body.

In addition to the alcohol testing, bracket racers will be competing in the Big Money Kick Off Classic. The alcohol testing will be conducted in sessions, starting with three on Friday, and five each day on Saturday and Sunday.
