Besides calling SSI, how do you identify what I have. I just picked up a 14-71 that isn't anything special but just wanted to know what it is. Standard helix (60 degree), 14-71 with non-retro openings. I’ve heard of several different models but wanted to know what is what. How to you tell the difference? Thanks.

My D rotor SSI had a D stamped on the end of the rotor . Why not call them with the serial # to get the real scoop on what you have .

    Ssi Identification

Typically The B Rotor Has Two Ridges Of Aluminum Next To The Nylatron Similar To A Stock Gm Rotor.
C Rotor Has Two Valleys Next To The Nylatron
D And F Rotor Has A Full Radius On The Lobe Of The Rotor A Little Harder To Tell Apart
The F 2 Rotor Is Ball End Milled And Looks A Little Different.
Typically The B Serial Number Runs From 0 To 300
    C Rotor 300 To Maybe 500
    D 500ish To 800
    F 800 To On Up
    Hope This Helps

JR comes through again, appreciate it. Mine is a B because of the ridges and is in the 140's for the serial.

I'm sure there must be a performance gains because of the changes but how significant are they?
