    Had a friend ask me what the distanced from the front of the bell housing (block mating surface) to the back of the pan was on a glide....I don't know and I didn't have one around to measure.

    Thanks in advance for you help

    Well, to the trans mount it is 16 5/16". The mount is about 1.5" behind the edge of the pan.

    did this answer you or do you need exact distance to rear of pan sump itself or to the rail of pan where bolts holds pan on at?have one sitting about 3 feet from my putter in house so i can get you exact measurements if greg's answer wasn't close enough for you;

    Thanks guys!!!
    That is close enough...my friends car is set up with sliders for a lenco or bruno/lencodrive and he has a cross tube 18" to the rear of the block. He is looking for less expensive trans options and was asking me what would fit.....I told him I thought a glide would fit but I wanted to be sure.

    Thanks for the help
