I've got a couple of basic fuel tank design questions that I would like to ask.

In the application we are working on, we need to carry about 10 gallons of fuel. Front mount. Will have two good sized vents, routing to the rear. 1.5" diameter tube from tank to pump. About 6" back and 6" up from tank to pump inlet. Waterman Lil' Bertha, max suction of 30gpm. Tank will be more or less squarish. Two substantial return streams, at times.

    Our questions are these........

Thoughts on baffles to isolate & deaerate the return flows?

Thoughts on baffles to divide the tank volume into approximate halves or quadrants?

Thoughts on how to prevent the tank outlet from pulling a vortex and sucking air into the fuel stream? I guess one would call this anti-vortex measures.

Thinking that the screw blown guys, or the TF guys must have already figured out these issues. Would appreciate any feedback before we actually cut & weld.

    Thanks.
