fuel cell/altered

Who makes a good fuel cell for a altered, wanting a custom cell 5-6 gal. alum. nice!!

 

Copy from one of my previous posts...if you can use one these poly tanks:

Bob Massey manufactured the 7 & 10 gallon poly fuel tanks that are used in a lot of Funny Cars - now sold by Tim McAmis.....they are just about indestructible. Here is a little safety story: Vern Moats had a friend that crashed a car that used one of these tanks - and it was totally crushed - but did not split open like an aluminum tank. He threw it up in his garage attic for a year or so and with the summer heat it came back to its original shape...pretty much usable...so as a safety issue, I like the poly tanks much better than aluminum if you can find one to fit your car...
