    blower intake

Your blower intake is probably setup for a standard helix (full opening) 6-71. You'll either need to have it machined for the larger 14-71 size opening or get a different manifold that already has the larger size opening.

It seems that the blower bottom opening is to big for the intake, almost as if the intake opening needs to be longer there is a good 1/2 inch of blower opening visable when bolted to the manifold its almost as if it needs a plate to fill the openings similar to a buzzard to bird block off if you know what i mean

I've used a 1/4" plate to cover the mismatch on the openings using black RTV between plate and blower and original o-ring between plate and manifold with no problems. Could probably machine o-ring groove in plate, just never got around to it. I suppose you could go as thin as 3/16", but 1/4" seems sufficient for moderate boost apps.
