Etterman and Johnson ‘Links’ LBX Company as Associate Sponsor

Newaygo, MI – George and Jane Etterman, as well as Jonathan Johnson are excited about their upcoming 2006 campaign. To add to the excitement of Bar’s Leaks returning as major sponsor, the team has acquired Link Belt Earthmoving and Forestry Material Handling Equipment, also known as the LBX Company.

“We are ecstatic about being a part of Etterman Racing and look forward to a long, fruitful relationship with Jonathan and Etterman Racing” said Don Harvell, Regional Manager for LBX.

“The fans of NHRA represent a core customer segment that's vital to the success of this company and we know that this partnership will benefit both LBX and Etterman Racing. It's going to be a great season on the circuit and we look forward to cheering Jonathan on to many wins this year," said Rob Brittain, Marketing Communications Mgr. for LBX Co.

“The Etterman Racing team could not be more excited about the association with Link-Belt and LBX,” said Johnson, “the positive energy they have shown and the enthusiasm to help push this program has been very gratifying. It’s definitely a credit to our team, NHRA, and the Lucas Oil Series to have the involvement of the great company that is LBX. George and I have put countless hours into the research, promotion, and execution of our marketing package and for this to come to fruition is very rewarding.”

LBX Company is located in Lexington, Kentucky and is known for the manufacturing of the Link-Belt branded excavators. LBX is solely responsible for all Link Belt earthmoving, forestry and material handling equipment in both North and South America. Because of the innovative designs and highest of quality parts, coupled with the best product support in the industry, LBX has a loyal customer base and strong network of distributors. These distributors and customers are welcome guests to the Etterman Racing camp, and we feel we will be able to offer some excitement for them on the race track as well.

Etterman Racing will start their 2006 season at the Division 4 opener in Belle Rose, Louisiana March 3-5.
