Drive shaft

    Why is not the drive shaft between the gearbox and rear axles gun drilled like the rear axle

    If new, it can be.....

    Lots of factors, formula of OD to ID. A high dollar billet that looks perfectly straight is more than likely NOT. Bar is rifle drilled first, then machined, then heat treated and straightened. When customer hears extended time and freight back and forth to driller, most decline when they hear the cost difference.
