drive shaft

on my new altered i just got it came with a M/W driveshaft that has a M/W #39005-e trans yoke..i have a new #39005-H M/W chrome moly slip yoke on shelf..wouldn't this yoke be stronger[much bigger then one on shaft]?ther other thing is if i exchange the yoke on driveshaft for the chrome moly one would drive shaft need rebalanced?
