We have ours in the back of the manifold.

With engine functions so critical today, i`m wondering why the data loggers dont have a sensor in each intake port, so one can see how much boost is getting to each cyl.

Most people put the sensor in the back but it really doesn't make any difference because regardless where it is and what it reads it becomes a reference point for the tuneup.

I read the pressure on each port with our custom homemade data logger and there is maybe a pound difference between the front and back but a lot depends on the intake manifold design.

I was talking to Randy at RPM on this subject and he said to run a #3 or #4 line to the manifold and mount the sensor on the firewall or another place. The sensor will work directly mounted in the manifold. However it will work longer remote mounted and in some cases reads more consistantly.
