    Hey guys,

Getting ready to tear my engine down for inspection over the winter. This is my first hemi, and I haven't even raced it yet. As such, I have also never had it apart. I am assuming that because of the spring pressures these engines have, there is a correct way to remove the rocker assemblies. I have BAE Fuel heads if that matters. Can any of you guys give me the heads up, so I don't damage anything?

    Thanks,

Easy. Loosen the adjusters, pull push rods, then pull the 10 bolts on each side and tap the assm SOFTLY with a plastic hammer if it doesn't want to lift up. Putting them on is a nother story. Sometimes it takes about 13854 pairs of hands to drop them on. :) Then again, sometimes they 'fall' on.

Thanks guys. I've got the pushrods out. That was easier than I thought it would be. The stands appear to be held in by a single head stud on each of the 5 stands per side. Looks like when I pull the head the first thing off will be the rocker assemblies.
