    Blower Belt

Jamie The Best Way To Do It Is Have Everything On Your Motor Mocked Up. Block, heads, gaskets, blower Manifold, blower Restraint If It Affects Blower Height And Blower With The Crankshaft In The Block. Then Measure From The Center Of The Crank To The Center Of The Blower Snout Or Blower Drive Gear If You Don't Have A Blower Snout On The Blower. Once You Have That Measurement You Can Go To The Rcd Chart And Go To Your Centerline And Go Across The Chart Similar To A Multipication Table And Pick A Belt. Once You Have Picked A Belt You Take The Max Tooth Count On The Chart And Your Top And Bottom Pulley Can Not Exceed That Number And Ideally Should Be Two To Three Teeth Lower Than The Max Tooth Count So You Have Some Adjustment. Now As Far As The Best Belt To Pick There Is Pro's And Con's To Both. 8mm Offers The Most Adjustment For Overdrive But Not Quite As Storng As The 14. The 14 Being Very Strong But 3 To 5 Percent Jumps On The Overdrive. The Same With 13.9. The 11mm Is Kinda The Best Of The 8 And The 14 But Not Real Popular At The Track Yet If You Need To Borrow Pulleys Or Belts And The Initial Start Up Is Pretty Pricey. If You Like Once You Have The Centerline You Can Email Us With Your Overdrive Requirements And We Can Crunch Some Numbers For You If You Want.
