copper head gaskets

a while ago someone came out with a copper head gasket with the o ring in the gasket,anyone remember who they were and if it worked.

actually its the ICS line of gasket that SCE makes that has the built in seal ring but it,s still not as good as the good old O-ring /receiver groove set up according to SCEs teck department. How do they hold up vs the o ringed block and or heads.Rick

 

Apparently very well up to 1800 HP

any thing past that, and you do need the reciever
groove and fire ring in the head,..
would you take the chance with out it. ?????
