Computer engine program

HI,
Does anyone know of a computer program that teaches how to set up and tune alcohol/nitro combination and then let's you run the combination in a simulation? I remember catching a part of a TV program, where Austin Coil commented that if your could master tuning a fuel engine in a some video game then you could tune and run an actual engine. Never did find out what he was talking about.
Any ideas?
