In the back of National Dragster, there is a company that sells a high pressure air compressor bottle refill deal, rather than using CO2. Has anyone tried this, and if so good or bad feedback? Thanks.

i found it easier to lease a large co2 tank from national welders and fill my own air bottles. i need at least 150lbs to run the bruno + lenco air shifters. i don't see how compressed air can maintain that high of air pressure. since the main co2 bottle is filled to 800 pounds it cannot over fill and blow out the pressure disc on the small bottle. you might want to consider the type of co2 to use in the main bottle - you can get either gas co2 or liquid co2 in the big bottle. liquid co2 will last longer but the bottle pressure will rise when heated. all you need to get to fill the small bottle is a kit that the paint gun folks use to refill their gun bottles. i've seen them on ebay for less than $30.00.
