I have a 270 inch RED chassis, Blown alky set up brad 5 with 206d , getting it back halfed this winter, a question came up if I should us blow back tubes to the motor plate to and upright, or do what the funny car guy's have, a channle on either side of the motor plate that runs from top to bottom?

Can any one help, pro's & con's ? I have never heard this before?

    thanks again

    tubes

Use what is the easiest for maintenance. Always used the upright and pinned to the bell. drilled holes in a couple grade 8 bolts. then used hitch pins for quick maint. make sure they are threaded so you can adj. them. Call Terreaca @ Mckinney. they sell a kit to fab. them. Make sure you do them right. they can do more than act as blow back tubes. Don

If your going to weld on your bell housing you have to send it back to the manufacturer for them to do it or they won't re-cert it next time.

Browell will let it slide. But if it is a TTT send it back and let them do it for you. If you want to go fast, spend the money and don't look back. Don
