can a wheel be straightened

    I have done several..the last one I tried was soooo bent I couldn't save it..so it can be done..Dave

    Is that a two piece wheel? Is the wheel bolted to the hub assembly? If so is that where the problem is? Was it bolted together crooked from the factory?

    I wouldn't want to risk my safety on something so cheap....$500 might end up costing $50k. We bent a almost brand new Weld liner rim in Indy...it was only about a small 1/4" out and we were told by Weld and Hoosier that there's no way in hell we should even consider running it. I actually put it for sale on here....a guy was making a half of a funny car on the shop wall. You'd be surprised how quick it would probably go as-is.
