We are getting a new crank made and have a few questions.

What % of overbalance do you figure in when getting a bobweight on a blower motor, if any?

How many grams of oil do you figure?

    This is what I have.

    rod big end 542gr
    " " 542
    bearings 100
    small end 221
    piston 651
    pin 199
    locks 3
    rings 54
    oil 6

Comes out to 2318 grams right?

So you are not jerked around, use 1-pin199-rings54-locks3-piston651-oil5- small end of rod221-. I used 52% of reciprocating weight when i balanced a motor, oil is about 6 grams, then use total of 2 rod big ends542 2 bearings, get rid of locks and get buttons, thats right 2318. try to lighten your pistons and the small end of the rod, like the old maid that pissed in the ocean said Evered little bit helps. P/S heres a tip, some one is gold plating Mallory and selling it as solid gold, look out sucker's.
