We have always o-ringed our intake manifolds. How are these 2 different, such as, does a gasket get destroyed everytime the blower comes off?

They both work fine, in a case where the blower comes off and on a lot I would suggest an o- ring, because the gasket can stick and tear, there are ways to prevent this, but an o-ring is easier, but both work just fine
