I have a BAE-5 FAT-HEAD INTAKE an it looks to have been cut down where blower bolts 750-800 thousands. Is this a common??? What is the reasoning?? New to a HEMI!!

Retro plate; an aluminum plate that is attached to the manifold so the blower can be moved back in order to allow for a front discharge (retro) blower or to bring a standard discharge blower more to the center of the manifold to help even out distribution. :)

Thanks, That's What I Thought But Like I Said, This Is New To Me. So, With Intake Cut Down And Placing Blower In Standard Location Will There Be A Reduction In Performance (due To Intake Being Shorter)?
