    which and the difference between fat-4 and fat-5 and fat-6 ?

    i think on the 4's to the 5's they raised the exaust port and lightened them.

    there are early model 5's with smooth finish intake runners and late model 5's with cnc finish (ridged)

    from the 5's to the 6's, they raised the intake port, put a D shaped exaust port. the intake valve is slightly smaller on the 6's to fit pro mod rules.

    due to the raised intake runner, both valves have to have a very short tip....thus the need to run lash lock retainers (lash cap and retainer in one).

    we really didn't have our car running hard before we switched to the bae 6. i've been told it picks it up in the mid range vs. the 5.
