does anybody agree that a sbc with a 10-71 hi helix, port and hat nozzles would run better with a 4.060x3.625 b&s than it would with a 4.155x3.625 or 3.75 b&s????????

I Would Think It Would Depend On What You Put It In. If You Had A Lightweight Dragster The Small Bore Short Stroke Problay Will Work The Best. If You Were Putting It In A Monster Truck Or Flat Bottom Boat I Would Want The Longer Stroke Bigger Bore.

Go for the bigger bore. Assuming that you have a Bow Tie or aftermarket block!!

    bore

Why would you think the 4.060 bore is better than the 4.155 ?
Do you have a cube limit?
By going to the larger bore you unshroud the valves and gain cylinder head flow and cubic inches. What is the advantage of the smaller bore.
If you are using a stock block I wouldn't go .060 over and I wouldn't put that big of a blower on it.:)
