Attn pro mod and suspension guys, new axle/4 link question

So I am trying to cram a MW modular 11" under my Hairy Glass 63 Vette pro mod, The chassis is a Vanishing point car and was strengthened in the 4 link area by Garret.

The questions is with a 16" 4 link center on the chassis and a minimum of 17 1/4" center on the 11" rear will that 5/8" offset cause a problem or keep the car from running its best?

I have heard from a couple of well known chassis builders that it should be fine, I have heard from some well known racers that you can't....

Anyone have experience in this? Anyone successfully cram an 11" into a HG vette?
