Erickson Tie Down and Tow Straps and Atchison Racing extend partnership three more years

London, Ontario November 9, 2005 Erickson Tie Down and Tow Straps have extended their primary sponsorship of Rob Atchison’s Alcohol Funny Car for three more seasons. “The Erickson’s are not only great supporters of drag racing and our racing program but have become close friends. It would have been difficult to race without them in more ways than one! Our team can’t wait for the 2006 season to kick off and hopefully bring home another championship for the Erickson family“ stated IHRA Funny Car Champion Rob Atchison.

Located in Thamesville Ontario and Marine City Michigan Erickson Manufacturing has been manufacturing and distributing quality Tie Downs and Tow Straps into the North American automotive, marine, agricultural, fleet and recreational markets for the past 30 years.

The 2006 Erickson Tie Down and Tow Strap Funny Car will feature a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo body with a new paint scheme designed by Stu Wotpyka of Intelligent Design and masterfully applied by Ultimate Touch Collision and Paint. “The car has a new look with a familiar touch. Intelligent Design and the great guys at Ultimate touch designed and painted our previous Pontiacs” stated Rob Atchison.

Atchison Racing is also pleased to announce the return of Tool & Cutter Supply as associate sponsor to 3 straight IHRA Funny Car Champion Rob Atchison’s new Monte Carlo. “ It is great being associated with Paul and Rob and all the staff at Tool & Cutter Supply,” states Rob Atchison.
