Alcohol / nitro injection question

    Why is it that alcohol racers use only the injectors on the hat and nitro guys use both hat and manifold injectors? Many years ago I remember seeing an alcohol dragster using the same set up as the nitro guys.

    Depends on the amount of fuel been flowed for the motor due to size of the jet hole. If you have a small motor without much boost and you don't flow much fuel then it maybe common to use just the hat. In all the blown alcohol promods and funny cars we use jets in the ports and the hat/blower.
