A/Fuel intakes / barrel valves

I presently have an older Hogan large runner intake on this A/Fueller we are planning on running next year, and I've been told several times that I just have to step up to a newer small runner unit, even with the Brad 5's I'm using.
Hogans have one for Brad 8's that they recommend for me; Automan seems to be a popular unit out there; are there others?
My injector is a Geradot, that I'd prefer to keep.
Also, my barrel valve is a Pete Jackson unit, an older one, that's pretty fussy to set idle on. Wouldn't mind changing that too. Suggestions?
