I just received a fresh set of Dart 360 solids BBC from my head "guy". And I noticed all the exhausts were slightly thin on the port wall . (read broken throught the close bolt hole) Basically the port walls had a "hole" at the base of the port and had broken through to the stud hole. I called him and he said " not a problem, thats how I know I have gone far enough on the port (cnc)". He said after I put a bolt in the hole a minor break through would not be a problem it would seal up. These heads are max, and flow well, 465cfm int, 317 ex cfm.Should I run them? They will make awesome power BUT is this normal on a blown motor??? Or ???

How much could this problem cause me when I'm going 200 MPH's????

My Dart 320 CFE's are the same way. I've been running them for 4 years now without any problems. BBC 1471

We had a pair of dart pro 1 heads done the same way. Also, the big chief heads I have now are the same way. I was told this is very common and it has no effect on the power or strength of the head.

My set of Dart 360's are the same way, except for the head guy put brass sleeves in the bolt holes, so the ports are now sealed off. I would guess you could the same thing on yours.
