Hi everyone , right I have twin plug heads with single and twin plug valve covers, twin supermag 3s with the capacitor thingy upgrade, dual and single drives and my question is should i run twin or single ? I have a tractor pulling friend that says they've tried single and twin and it didn't make any difference but having a fresh spare is a good idea, BUT other friends say run both, I'm thinking of running both as i've got them but if there's no need to i won't , what do you guys say ?
it's a 526 kb with Dart/total flow twin plugs, 14/71, enderle, 3 speed lenco in my pick up
    Thanks , Wayne

i have ran both dual mag and single mag though dual mags look cool i prefer single mag its cheaper and less headach and you will have a spare mag just my thoughts it may be different in the pros but for match racing i ran a single mag IV had plenty of power

as jim said!!!!!! he is rite...but I do run 2 mags.looks cool:D but for real it will keep the motor lit with a good blower and also if you would loose a mag you still will finish the race..Dave

Back when we ran the Supermag stuff we ran a dual setup. Reason being, if you have one coil go dead, it's not really going to hurt you as badly because you have that second one running as well. If you already have all the stuff to do it, I would.

Just curious. For you guys who have dual setups, have you ever tried runs with single mag versus a run with duals?

I can appreciate the redundant reliability of duals, and the greater probability of getting the cylinder lit, but I am quite interested to know whether you may have found (or not) a performance advantage or an ignition lead reduction with duals with rich methanol mixtures.

With nitro I can understand duals (or even triple), but am very curious about the case with boosted meth.

Any feedback would be appreciated, either here or at a PM.

    Thanks.
