I can not find an active website or phone number for this company? I was looking at past post and a few racers say they make a nice grinder. Any help would be nice.

Boninfante have a horizontal bench top type unit of their own, but it looked awkward to use in my opinion. Have seen some home made units that work pretty decent. The Bull is a dry unit and I'm not so sure about the availability of service parts, and the company seems to be in&out of business from time to time, and I would wonder about the stability & setup of the head unit.

After looking around, I decided that the best value for the $$ was still the portable Van Norman FG4000R. You can either move it around easily in the shop, or drag it around in your trailer, and you can use it wet or dry. Boninfante sells the VanNorman machines, but in my case the best price was through the local Van Norman dealer. You can also find a lot of Van Norman machines at used machinery sites or even E-Bay. Even if you find a stationary Van Norman unit at a good price, you can still make it portable by making a wheeled cart for it which is basically what the FG400R is.

The optional tooling packages for the Van Norman are poorly described in their literature. You realy need to call their tech help line and describe the exact clutch that you have and the list of things that you hope to use the machine for. Then you will know what optional tooling to buy. Sucks to get a machine with the fuel clutch stuff when you have a pedal clutch. Don't ask me how I know that. Oh well, now I can do both.

    Hope that helps.
