Are small chevy questions allowed? LOL

I have a Little M block, Eagle crank. Everything measured out on the bottom end, and it looks like i'll have .0045 on the mains and .0043 on the rods. Too much? This motor is for a 200 FED, blown Alky, NE1 and possibly 7.0Pro (if it'll run the #).

I'm figuring on 50w or 60w oil, and a good pump. But what pump?

    Opinions? Thanks in advance everyone.

    you are good to go.

    We ran 427 SBC Brodix -12 head 14/71 HH Littlefield Th400 3065lbs 7.20’s @ 192mph 1/4 mile run.
We ran the same clearance on our set up, 50w, Moroso 4 stage dry sump.
It's all in the tune up.
    Good Luck

    Appreciate the feedback.

Greg, I'd personally run an external oil pump and talk to Bryan Olson (Olson Pans) about a pan for it.
Don't forget about running with us (Top Eliminator West) at Sacramento.

    Have fun..................blessings...........Ron.

in my 375 I ran a motown block ,bryant crank. .005 rods and mains with a titan pump set at 130 psi with a jeff johnston 13qt pan and 50w brad penn oil and the bearings came out of it looking like they were never in a running engine .:)

Thank you for the updates. i'm looking at a titan pump. I like lots of oil pressure (more important, more volume).
I appreciate the feedback everyone, alot.
Ron, good to see you on here. I am afraid this motor combo wont be a TEW combo. I'm collecting 426 stuff. then i'll come run with TEW. :)

I currently run a 377 inch combination in an altered. Dart block Brodix heads 8-71 high helix blower 9% overdrive and run 6.80's. I ran a 6-71 with the same combo in 7.60 (NE-1) for many years. I have run a stock melling m55 oil pump with a Milodon pan for 12 years and never had any problems. With the bearing clearences you listed and Kendall 50 weight i get 60-70psi oil pressure, no pressure loss anywhere on the run and no bearing problems. External pumps and Titan pumps are not needed on small blocks. It's all in the tune up!

    Do you run a M55HV or just a M55?

    Thanks!

P.S. Blown Altered, can you PM or email me if you have a minute?

    Blown S/B chev

    Hi,
We run a blown small block chev of 376 ci, PSI Screw blower to 6.40 seconds at 209 mph, use 50 weight oil, internal high volume pump and large alum wet sump, and everything works well with no problems
