Does anyone make a tester that will hook up to the MSD 44 amp mag system to check for problems? I'm hoping there's something out there to be able to check coil, points box, etc, without having to send it in. It sure would make things alot simpler at the track.

    Thanks,

Most just carry an extra mag and change it if something goes nuts. It takes quite a bit to have a problem with one. It usually is in their trigger. We now use a Leahy trigger and have had better luck. Not a tester for the mag I know of. They do make a RPM tester for the 8973 box but that's all I know of.

We have spare mags, coils, and points boxes; I was just wondering if there was anything out there that would narrow a problem down amongst the three. I was told about something Racepak just came out with to check all of them, anybody know about it?
