Just a question, why dont more people run the beadlock wheels? just to heavy? I figure if they make prostock run them they would make alcohol cars run them.
    Thanks,
    J.T.

for what it's worth....heres my 2 cents. anyone ever hear the expression monkey see....monkey do? i think it was about 2-3 years ago that virtually everyone with an alky car ran beadlocks at some point. the manufacturers were so far behind in making them that you couldn't even buy a set.i know this because i called....everyone! i saw used convo pros going for 1500.00 a set. people were buying them up like hotcakes.it had alot to do with the tires that were available then.you needed beadlock with this tire, but they wouldn't work with this one, and so on. well, someone figured out that you really didn't need them, so everyone followed suit.i know there will be several people out there that disagree with what i'm saying, but you can make the beadlocks work. it's all in the clutch can, chassis, and fuel system.there have been alot of fast cars that made them work. once again, this is just my 2 cents.

We have run beadlocks on our car for 2 seasons now with the M/T's and we really like them. We also ran beadlocks with Hoosiers when we still had our TAD, slightly different tuneup on the clutch but yes, you can make them work...and they're about 15lbs lighter per wheel too!
