Blower shop XR1 14/71 performance

    Has anyone tested or compared the new blowershop XR1 14/71 against the LB-20 or superman ?

    The LB21 is their newest. What kind of OD are you going to run?

    It's a grudge car so I won't be limited, but they claim their new XR1 will outperform the k11 superman, lb-20, or even the dmp m-4 , but I can't find any data to back that up?

    Not sure I have ever seen a Blowershop supercharger on a winning car at any big Promod race. Has anyone else?

    It's got a billet case with the changeable top and priced right with the lb-20 and maybe the lb-21 and they say it's even better???

    If it was me I would not want to put my money into a new and unproven blower. It may or may not be good but it is unproven.

    I believe some boat guys use that blower.

    Yes and tractor pullers too , they say the world record top fuel blown hydro is running it and they claim on their blower dyno it outperformed the LB-21 and dmp m-4 but not the m-5 ???

    I am with Mike on this one , what drag racer has used this piece on pavement and I would like to see the results .

    Maybe its the next big thing, but I don't know of any top running (or any) tractor puller that has them on. How about they give you references and you let us know

    I know most of the top pullers in the country and I don't recall anyone running this blower. 75% of the top pullers are running SSI's and DMPE's The other 25% are PSI's, Littlefields and some Chuck Ford stuff also.

    Call Andy Wilfong at Littlefield and talk to him. He is a member of this forum and a really knowledgeable blower guy.

    SoDak , no need for references . Any new supercharger that surpasses the currently available units would have already been on the tractor pullers and drag racers engines and the word would have been spread . The racing/pulling group is pretty small and word travels fast as you surely know .

    OK, did a little research. The current T/F hydro record holder, at 3.36@262mph. Is The Problem Child of Eddie Knox Racing they use the Blower Shop XR1 14-71 blower.
