My strange floaters use a 4-prong axle nut. Where do you get this tool? Is it proprietary through Strange, or is there some other tool that will fit? I tried all my other axle nut sockets, but no go.

    Thanks,

get a steel block use 4 drive pins drill the block drive in the pins and weld a socket on the other side so you can use a ratchet on it.Dave

I knew I kept you around for a reason. I didn't think about it, but the nut is flush, so you are right, a plate with pins would work fine. Thanks for the kick-start.

PS. I'll be having you set me up with some blower gel soon too.

IBought a cheap large socket at harbor freight that was the same I'd as the nut and welded 4 pieces of scrap key stock for crankshafts to the outside of socket. Works perfect
