Fuel timers in NHRA TAFC legal or no?

    Fuel timers in NHRA TAFC legal or no? also was wondering if I can use chromoly for the head shields and if so what thickness?

    At this time air operated fuel timers are allowed.

    solenoids

    The only thing that has to be air is the solenoids. The Leahy timer box is legal to run fuel timers, but you have to get electric over air switches to convert the signal to air solenoids. So your NC or NO valve has to be air, thats it.

    Thanks for the info guys, I appreciate all of the help.

    Tim, Tony was saying he didn't think it was but I told him you ran divisionals there in FL and that was after the tech guy eyeballed you! apparently you IHRA guys cheat...lol...Just wanted to see if there was a specific way it had to be done....pneumatic it is! I really don't know anything other than what we discussed so it's always good to learn. See you in about a week buddy as promised.
