    Duane,

Ive used both tires, and I like them both. The Hoosier c2055 seems to like wheel speed, but is not as forgiving to shake as the 1022. I have also run the new 2622 from Goodyear and it is a better tire than the 1022 as far as overall grip and length of time you can run the tire. It seems to last longer. All of this in a 2550 lb Pro Mod with a .56 rear gear and 2.10 low gear.

If you want a set of the 2622`s, gimme a call and Ill get you hooked up through our supplier.

What is your 60 ft avg now? I just see a lot of them out there who won't 60 any better than a second without getting stupid loose, just the nature of the beast. I think you'd be happier using the 1.98 1st gear with a little more base in the clutch, the 2.07 won't let the clutch "eat" and lockup will happen too quickly, probably resulting in shake or smoke.
