I figure Jimmy Walsh will get the crew chief job on the ARMY car.

    Scelzi goes with AJ.

    Any thoughts.

I figure Jason will tune AJs new TF car while AJ is spending much of his time on the FC.

It will be interesting to see how many of the Army team go with AJ. I think Bruce is right, Jason coming with Alan to run the dragster would be a good choice. I think DSR should go after Rahn Tobler to run the Army car if they could get him away from Cruz. (Disclaimer: I don't like it when people get hire away, but it is business).

I think DSR should hire their old crew chief back I think it was Dan Olson. They won a couple of races every now then maybe that's what the team needs to change their attitude a little. They should be like every other top fuel team and win 3 or 4 races a season.

    Eli.
I don't suck up to people with money. I am the type of person that gives everyone a chance to prove themselves. Al Anabi has already proven that he has hooked up win a winning bunch of guys. People can't see beyond there religious background and let me tell you your US Government knows exactly where they are investing there money in the US. The people they are working with are American citizens and they can't just hide the money they have been given. Give them a chance and if or when they screw up then give them what they deserve. This world needs to be a little more open minded, we have a lot more problems to worry about instead of someone who would like to take drag racing to the next level. So say what you want to say.

I got a $137 parking ticket in Maine the other month and the cop had an attitude! You'd think I'd at least get a smile and "Thank you for your business!" :)

I don't know who the first car to give in was but, what do you call the rest of them? Pragmatic? Sounds like there were about 16 in that crowd! :D

    Well......

Seeing as how I'm on White Russian # 4, grain of salt what follows:
Geeting a PHD from the Oil Patch and not being too shabby a machinist stuck in a Company Camp in the middle east, ( you havent seen a car collection till you've seen an Arab Prince with a western education) I've had the strange pleasure of meeting a rich Arab or two or even better a lot of broke down in the dirt owns as well. In this time I learned a thing or two bout the culture from which Mr. AL- Abai traces his vast wealth from. Buying out the ARMY Team is a statement that most in this Culture of Capital just dont get. This was a calculated and serves a pure political means as viewed from the Arab mindset, but I'm not hating on the Capitalist Concept that drives the land of the Free and the Home of the Brave......but God Damn some stuff just shouldnt be for sale in a time of war....Top of my list would be Team Army. I would go on to point out that the same PR firms that advised the DOD to sink a healthy portion of its recruiting budget into Motorsports is the same slugs that are on board in Dubai, Quatar and a few other " moderate" Arab outposts advising them on how to become more mainstream in the war of ideas.
Sometimes you just need a lil russian hooch to help ya see the forest for the trees.
    Cheers from the Greatland...
Ford this ones for you brother!

Can I get a Radio Check?

I had a very good friend from Qatar, he(and his family) was VERY pro America, Qatar is definitely ahead of the "normal" times as far as Muslim countries go. I seriously doubt there are ill intentions on al-anabi's part. Last i checked America has alliance relations with Qatar don't we? C'mon man/s.
