Anyone have any flow figures that they would like to share for a .180” orfice nitrous solenoid? I know the orfice is listed as .180” but I’m not sure if the plunger gets all the way out of the way and would flow the same as say a 180 jet. Basically I’m looking for the max flow of one of those solenoids. Thanks in advance.

no expert, but unless it's one of the oversized "trashcan" style it likely is closer to .125 as typical. even the normal "large" NOS solenoids won't flow more than a .120-125 jet.

I have had the same experience with nitrous solenoids when I tried to use them as lean outs. They generally did not flow near as much as I thought. I went to a hydraulic solenoid and problem solved.

Thanks guys. I was thinking somewhere around the .130” range.

.130" is about 3.7 GPM, a pretty serious lean out

I’ve taken mine and opened the holes up some. Then used a smaller lean out off my fuel log for the fine tuning
