can somebody explain how to plum in a two step high speed fuel solenoid for a blown alcohol hemi, so I can leave the starting line full wide open, also how much fuel would you need to bleed off. this is for only when I'm on the trans brake.

I use Leahy fuel leanouts for the 2 step. -6 line from the block on output side of fuel pump to the timers then to the tank/return. Depends on what your application is on how much to bleed off. And how much fuel you're pumping in on the step.

Sorry forgot to ask if you have a fuel flow sensor. If you do then you need 5.2 to 5.5 gpm on the two step. If no fuel flow sensor then try an 80 pill.

No sensor, does the line come off of the pump to the solenoid lean out then to the tank?

Yes. Line comes off the output side of pump. Think of it as a return circuit. Runs to solenoid, then to tank or fuel line (wherever you return your fuel).

Do you have a clutch or converter?

Converter is pretty easy, you just hook solenoid up to the transbrake signal.

Clutch you have to set the arm switch at .xxx from zero air gap. You have to check/set the arm switch every time to ensure it is releasing the two step at the same point. If you just have a switch on the stop or somewhere in the sweep of motion the motor will get too much of a run on the clutch.
